Our multi-size breakdown system ensures topped tanks during storage periods. All of our tanks have cooling jackets, and insulated tanks are available for long term storage.
A 72 foot state certified drive "into and out of" scale makes shipping and transfer quick and efficient, and gives growers documented measurement of all shipments into the facility.
Our bladder press is from Bucher, known world-wide for obtaining must of excellent and constant quality, will handle any level of press needed from 15 to 60 tons of white grapes per load.

Bill Pauli has an unparalleled tenure in the wine industry, and is a leading advocate for agricultural interests in state and national goverment. The former President and CEO of Souverain Winery, He is also the former co-owner of Braren Pauli Winery, former President and CEO of St. Genevieve Winery in Texas, and was a Partner and President of Redwood Valley Cellars Winery. Recently retired as the President of the California Farm Bureau Federation, he also serves as a member of the board of CAWG, and is a former board member of State Fund and the American Farm Bureau.
Hal is the builder of the Yokayo Wine Co. custom crush facility. A graduate from the University of California at Davis School of Mechanical Engineering, Hal is also involved with farming at Pauli Ranch. He currently serves as a member of the Mendocino County Farm Bureau and is a Firefighter on the Potter Valley FD.
Prior to joining Yokayo Wine Co., David was the Director of Winemaking and General Manager at Redwood Valley Cellars, a custom crush winery in Mendocino County. He also served as a winemaker at Konocti Vineyards and Buena Vista Winery. David holds a BS in Fermentation Science from UC Davis, having graduated in 1979.
David and his family began growing grapes in 1972,
commuting on weekends and holidays to the wine country, rejuvenating a 35 year-old abandoned vineyard. He continues working with his family operations to this
day, as well as tending 20 acres of his own grapes in
Lake County.
He started his wine making career at Konocti Winery, a
28 grower co-op in Lake County. While at Konocti Winery, and later at Buena Vista Winery in Carneros, David had the privilege of making a wide range of varietal wines under the tutelage of winemaking legend Andre Tchelistcheff.
David's experience has led to a deep understanding of all the myriad factors that influence a wine’s flavor profile. He brings this extensive knowledge to bear on all the wine we make for you.
As Vineyard Manager for over twenty years, Janet has become an expert on site-specific sustainable vineyard practices, through the development of various trellis systems, pruning protocols, integrated pest management practices and vineyard floor maintenance. She is currently a Director on the Potter Valley Irrigation District Board and is Chairwoman of the Mendocino County Inland Water and Power Commission.
Jake is our Assistant Winemaker, working daily with David to create great wines on behalf of our customers. Jake grew up in the business and graduated from Napa College with a degree in enology/viticulture
With a degree in business accounting and over a decade of experience in the wine industry, Darlene is Yokayo Wine Co.’s point person for all administrative activities.An expert in TTB and ABC compliance, she manages all regulatory filings for the Wine Co. and it’s customers. Besides good wine, Darlene enjoys antiquing, gardening, and her kitties.
